Federal League
Golden Eagles win behind Repp, Brown

GLENOAK 53, JACKSON 49  Maddy Repp scored 16 points to help visiting GlenOak to a Federal League high school girls basketball win Saturday.

Payton Brown also scored 12 points for the Golden Eagles.

Landrie Grace led Jackson with 11 points.

Sibley leads Panthers to road win

PERRY 59, BOARDMAN 45  Airelle Sibley led Perry with 14 points as the Panthers won on the road.

Perry outscored Boardman 17-7 in the second quarter to take a 34-22 lead into the half.

Karlee Pireu scored 12 points for the Panthers, while Kimmie Borck added 11 points.

Newkirk leads Bulldogs to easy win

McKINLEY 60, HATHAWAY BROWN 35  The Bulldogs jumped out to a 36-10 halftime lead before cruising to a convincing home victory.

Ty Newkirk scored a game-high 23 points for McKinley and grabbed seven rebounds.

Northeastern Buckeye
Wildcats too much for Aviators

CANTON SOUTH 45, ALLIANCE 16  Katie Uminski scored 10 points to lead the Wildcats to a Northeastern Buckeye Conference win.

Kayla Thompson also had nine rebounds for Canton South.

Trio powers Warriors past Dukes

CARROLLTON 63, MARLINGTON 45  Monica Starre scored 15 points as the Warriors picked up a NBC road win.

Ali Poole and Savana Lowery also scored 14 points apiece for Carrollton.

Ali Rodgers was Marlington’s leading scorer with 16 points. Morgan Penird also had 13 points for the Dukes.

Chaddock, Haynam lead Lions to win

MINERVA 47, SALEM 31  Josie Chaddock and Lauren Haynam combined for 27 points, hitting 17 of 19 free throws, as the Lions rolled on the road in this NBC contest.

Chaddock finished with 15 points, while Haynam had 12.

Trimmer, Heath lead Warriors

WEST BRANCH 52, LOUISVILLE 31  Melinda Trimmer scored 20 points to help visiting West Branch to a NBC win.

Pavin Heath also had 16 points and seven rebounds for the Warriors.

Rachel Zeller led the Leopards with nine points and nine rebounds.

Mustangs race past Indians

TUSLAW 41, NORTHWEST 30 The Mustangs raced out to a 15-2 lead after the first quarter and earned a road victory.

Hailey Stanford scored nine points for the Mustangs while Alyssa Neubauer added seven.

Jordan Smith was the only player to reach double figures, scoring 10 points for Northwest.

Cardinals fall at home

RIDGEWOOD 58, SANDY VALLEY 33  Courtney Huffman scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Sandy Valley, but the Cardinals suffered an Inter-Valley Conference setback at home.

Laura Frazee scored 17 points for Ridgewood, while Amanda Lowery added 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Hornets pull away in second half

MALVERN 43, STRASBURG 34  Sara Loomis finished with team highs of 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Hornets to an IVC win at home.

Malvern (7-7, 4-6) outscored the Tigers 31-20 in the second half.

Newman leads Knights past JFK

ST. THOMAS AQUINAS 36, WARREN JFK 22  Nicole Newman finished with game highs of 13 points and eight rebounds to lead the Knights to a home win.

Conquerors take control in fourth

HERITAGE CHRISTIAN 44, SOUTHERN LOCAL 34  Trailing 23-22 entering the fourth quarter, Heritage would end the game on a 22-11 run to secure a home victory.

Logan Webster scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Heritage, while Rachel Wade scored 12 points and had nine blocked shots.
