Federal League

BOARDMAN 44, JACKSON 37  Kelly Tomcsanyi scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Spartans to a Federal League high school girls basketball win on the road Wednesday. Jackson led by two at halftime, but managed just 15 points in the second half. Shannon Sellari led the Polar Bears with 15 points, while Anna Alkire added 10.

GLENOAK 57, HOBAN 52  Maddalyn Repp scored 14 points to lead GlenOak to a home victory. Payton Brown and Davina Shelton both added 10 points for the Eagles.

Northeastern Buckeye

WEST BRANCH 56, LOUISVILLE 44  Taryn Hahn scored a game-high 17 points to lead West Branch to a road victory. West Branch held a 39-16 rebounding edge. Hahn and Erica Johnson both recorded 10 rebounds for the Warriors. HollyAnn Mullett led Louisville with 13 points.

PAC

TUSLAW 43, CVCA 37  Nine different Mustangs scored, led by Bethany Koons’ 10 points, as Tuslaw gained a PAC-7 win at home. CVCA got 23 points from Rachel Radcliff.

TIMKEN 50, TUSKY VALLEY 48 Alahna Singleton scored 26 points and grabbed five rebounds as Timken narrowly escaped with a home victory. Mariah Mercer scored seven points and handed out 10 assists for the Trojans. Sydney Gilland was Tusky Valley’s leading scorer with 16 points.

INDIAN VALLEY 67, MANCHESTER 66  The Braves outscored Manchester 22-16 in the final quarter to hold off the Panthers for the one-point win at home in this PAC-7 contest. Paige Saho led Indian Valley with 21 points, while Katie Shamel added 17. Manchester got 26 points from Alex Klein, who hit 10 of 11 free throws. Kayci Krzynowek added 23 points in the loss.

Inter-Valley Conference

GARAWAY 58, MALVERN 44  Sara Loomis scored a game-high 27 points, along with eight rebounds, but the Hornets fell short at home in this Inter-Valley Conference game. Courtney Putt led the Pirates with 18 points, hitting 8 of 9 free throws.

HILAND 77, SANDY VALLEY 27  Regina Hochsteler scored 17 points and had eight rebounds as Hiland cruised to a road victory. Cortney Huffman led Sandy Valley with 10 points.

RIDGEWOOD 34, EAST CANTON 26  Amanda Lowery finished with a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds, as the Generals took down the host Wizards in IVC action. Sarah Griesen had eight points for East Canton, while Brooke Solomon led in rebounds with 13.

Others

GREEN 51, CLOVERLEAF 47  Tarah McCausland finished with a team-high 11 points to help lead the Bulldogs to a Suburban League win on the road. Emily Civittolo led the Colts with 19 points.
