COLUMBUS The Ohio High School Athletic Association Board of Directors — during its regularly scheduled January meeting today — announced the 2013 state football championship game dates under the new seven-division format.

Dover High School’s Mason Mamarella capped his stellar football career by sharing Division III Offensive Player of the Year honors after the 2012 Associated Press All-Ohio teams in Division III and IV were named Tuesday.
There will be a shake-up around the state next year when the Ohio High School Athletic Association goes to a seven-division format. It will allow more teams to make the playoffs with eight teams in seven divisions as opposed to just six.
A versatile senior quarterback and two dynamic senior athletes lead the local honorees on the Associated Press Northeast Inland District high school football team, which was released Thursday night.
