LEXINGTON - Erick Howard made the most of his heavy workload for Hoover in the second half, finishing with 278 yards on 48 carries in leading the Vikings to a 41-20 win on the road.
Lexington led 20-7 at one point, but Hoover would score 34 unanswered points in the comeback win. Brett Tulodzieski finished 6-of-14 for 114 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. He also had two rushing TDs.
A.J. Sarbaugh had two catches for 73 yards and a touchdown for the Vikings.
Lexington's Courtney Avery completed 7-of-17 passes for 201 yards with two touchdowns and one interceptions. Kenya Coombs had three catches for 154 yards and two TDs.
