Solon scored 31 unanswered points and played three shutout quarters on its way to defeating Jackson 31-7.

Jake Voigt paced Solon with 18-of-28 passing for 203 yards and a touchdown. He added 30 yards rushing. Kyle Hammonds also had a good night as he rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries. Tres Barksdale led all receivers with six catches for 95 yards. Ryan Rosenberg had two catches for 27 yards and a touchdown.

For Jackson, Grant Seanor had nine carries for 53 yards and its lone touchdown. He also went 9-of-26 passing for 101 yards and an interception. Zach Laughlin caught six balls for 62 yards.

Solon is now 2-0 and the Polar Bears are 0-2
