Lake's Jarrod Daugherty rushed for 111 yards on 14 carries and four touchdowns as the Blue Streaks cruised past visiting Hoover 42-14.

Quarterback Josh Peach managed the game well for the Blue Streaks, going 11 of 15 for 100 yards and connecting with receiver Ethan Dutton on a 4-yard touchdown pass

Xavier Hogan had a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown that finally got Hoover on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter.

Quarterback Austin Appleby scored Hoover's final touchdown on a 20-yard run.
